Yes, because the Android emulator is actually an emulator. The iOS "emulator" is a simulator. It doesn't emulate the ARM instructions or run an actual OS instance. The Android emulator does.
Of course, the best option is to connect your Android device and test/debug on the device itself.
As much as the prospect of Webkit in my terminal makes me uncomfortable, I think this is amazing. The terminal is probably my most used application and any effort towards making it better is awesome.

The way this article has been titled, it screams "SENSATIONAL!!11 READ ME!!!". Comes across as applications lock all your photos and messages and charge a dollar a peek.
Yes, it will look weird because Consolas was designed specifically for ClearType (which is why it looks nowhere as good on OS X). Inconsolata was designed without it.
Similarly, Monaco doesn't look half as good on Windows :) Text rendering differs on OS X and Windows.
