It's difficult to understand how an indie focused site will sell to a big generic company. They obviously know that Epic is going to have different culture even if they say the contrary. So probably making money or exit was the priority here.
I usually read that in NYC and California the is a LOT of job changing constantly. But when I see a LinkedIn profile there isn't that much job changes in the experience section. I imagine 20 jobs i.e but I usually see more around 7 or at most 10. Is this really a reality down there? At least for NYC?
I think you have groups on Goodreads that are intended for discussing a specific topic, book, or author's books. But I agree in that it's not really designed for meeting new people.
I agree but and I think is better to show both. In a first section the package ecosystem is presented mostly targeting scientific computing and on a second section some code examples for general-purpose computing.
