We are extending our military metal detector training product (precise tracking and visualization) capability to track over larger areas in more realistic operational scenarios. Curious whether there might be an application in the “detectorist” domain. Would be happy to chat with those interested/involved in the space.
I've found it challenging to make sure that my team follows a sound process to explore the space of strategic options to achieve a given objective. I like to think of KRs as a mechanism to monitor and focus the execution of a selected path. KRs, alone, say very little about the quality of the strategic decision making process.
If you have line of sight and can use fixed beacons whose position is known apriori, ultrasound is a good bet. However, if you need to track multiple objects within a defined space, things get tricky with ultrasound. Also, if 100hz is a strict requirement, ultrasound is not a great option due to issues such as signal attenuation in the environment.
