I think it is stupid to ever believe people would act as one. I get the feeling that you're one of those libtards that don't have a clue on how the world really works
Well, my company is always supportive of family life and has flexible hours. You just have to let them know. There's just one Indian woman I work with that constantly tells everyone she has a kid and because of that can't always work. The thing is, literally everyone has a family of their own... Always insists on sharing pictures of her kid so I have to pretend to be interested even I couldn't care less. All she can talk about is her child and wants another one which I can't imagine her being able to manage. I feel like she uses what's going on with coronavirus to work less. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. In her case they still haven't fired her.
Cooperation? Are you kidding me? What this is is two contrasting view points (maybe you can describe them as democratic or republican) that can't decide how to manage things and I think the only big mistake we made was shutting down in the first place because there's no way we could have possibly kept things down for more than two months in the first place. So we fucked our economy and made everyone change their behavior to try to save everyone. The problem with that logic, is that is not possible to save everyone in the first place. Stop blaming Trump because this lack of national plan that you believe is possible (which isn't and never will be) is because of all of our politicans suck and cannot agree on a plan you idiot.
I actually know someone that died from cancer. I don't know anyone that died from covid-19. I'm just talking from personal experience, and am not regurgitating statistics you hear from the news.
In my opinion, the government shutting down the economy and forcing businesses to stay closed was a horrible idea. The government should have intervened as little as possible. I think the news disseminating the news about coronavirus and then each individual should make the choice of what they want to do. If they wanted to stay at home then stay at home, if they want to keep their hair salon open, then they should have been allowed to make that choice. Don't forget this virus is from China and if China informed the world and the world health organizzation actually did their job then maybe they could have isolated this to China.
Are you stupid? The danger is overblown. I'm not saying covid-19 is a joke, but the media has everyone terrified and even if you want to do something, the Government has literally shut everything down.
No salary would be worth my life. Not everyone cares about money as much as people on HackerNews. And nurses definitely have more exposure to covid-19 than teachers.
No, I think everyone should overreact and quit their jobs because covid-19 killed around 150,000 Americans in a country of 300,000,000 people. (Except I would actually totally understand nurses quitting.)
