No. I mean, I understand it just fine, I just hate the structure of it. Something about it causes revulsion, something that would probably go away if I actually sat down and learned lisp.
As a former Vi user, I can kinda grok not liking arrow keys.
(_My_ arrow keys are the ones on the numeric keypad -- I almost never use Numlock. This is a hold-over from my first computer: An IBM PCjr that had arrow keys in a diamond layout instead of that hateful inverted-T layout that cramps one's thumb.)
I'd like to see all this technology, knowledge, and power put to use to feed, clothe, and house every person on the planet. There's no non-political reason we can't do this, but our current cultures won't allow for it.
I'd like to be able to pursue my passions and hobbies without having to waste the vast majority of my life in a day job just to survive. Life is to goddamned short for this madness.
