Free tuition is absolutely the answer, along with free healthcare, living costs, and housing for students. The college bachelors degree should be a two year program and required just as high school is. It should also be must more in depth and breadth. What is the true issue is what a University is and equally, the relationship amongst education, government, and business, I.e. Who is paying for it. I will not share here my opinions regarding the solutions, but think people should try to find what the real problems are rather than solve the wrong things.
I would like to hear other people's answers to this as well. For me, it took receiving a 4-year business degree just to begin to know the answers to your questions. Furthermore, I intent to spend about 4 more years in school receiving a law degree and MBA as well to help make me a business expert so that I know the answers completely (and I'd get a masters in economics as well if I had the money/time).
I think the most important question is, how do you plan to create value? Perhaps if you are an engineer, you gain enough of a business education to understand the environment, but partner with a business expert to allow you the freedom to unleash your creativity without being bogged down by administrative tasks. I don't think you necessarily want to swap being a value creating engineer with being a business adminstrator, however, obviously the better you understand the theories of business and the administrative tasks that must be had, the better you can create value in the world for others.
Alright, thanks everyone. That cellar door trick is interesting! I think I will keep it to three syllables or less and I want to go with a .com domain so that the general public won't get confused or anything like that. I see the ly and .io things as just fads and I want my business to be around for awhile so I will just stick with what is traditional. Also, it is interesting that so many of the best startups in the last 15 years have been two syllables...Google, Facebook, Twitter, Uber, Yahoo, etc.
I have found it difficult to come up with a good domain name so far, because it seems like so many have been taken.
