Doesn't that ensure that OEMs can't ship it just like Acer was banned from making Aliyun phones? Also, compatibility will ensure that almost no one will bother to make Sailfish apps and that Sailfish is in an eternal race to keep replicating all the functionality that is being pushed into the closed Play Services at an increasing pace.
