I've been playing the Z80-μLM demos in your CP/M emulator. Works great! However, I have yet to guess a correct answer in GUESS.COM! I'm not sure if I'm just not asking the right questions or I'm just really bad at it!
It's almost that simple. There are many online medical equipment providers that will send you an at home sleep study kit. Their goal is basically to sell you a PAP machine (plus ongoing related supplies), pretty much anyone can get one if they make a minimum of effort.
To me, I thought the interesting part was how he had to modify the hard drive emulator firmware to remove CPU wait states and support a streaming mode - I would have thought even the slowest SD card would be enough to overwhelm any 8 bit computer (I didn't even know SD cards had a special rarely used streaming mode).
I had one of these back in the day. I seem to remember it cost a lot less than buying a PostScript printer. A major downside was that it was extremely slow!
I believe the AS/400 calls it Field Exit. One of the things I used to do for new users was remap Field Exist to Enter in the IBM 5250 emulation software. Then the enter key acted like the user expected (on a real 5250 terminal there is a separate physical Enter key located where the right control key is on modern keyboards).
Explaining Field Exit vs Enter was something most users didn't get. However, they did understand Enter as like a submit button (like on web pages) and were fine selecting fields with the mouse.
The Tesla App seems to be divided into convenience features (which use an Internet connection) and a key (which uses Bluetooth).
The key part does not rely on Tesla's servers to operate (except probably for initial setup?). I had no problem unlocking or starting my Tesla during the outage.
Sadly, the App (convenience part) isn't 100% reliable. It occasionally fails to connect to the car and the only way to get it to work is to force close it. However, I have never had the key part fail to work.
In the US, this depends a bit on which state you live in.

As others have pointed out, most companies don't care about misdemeanors. And, technically you were arrested when you turned yourself in - at that moment you were not "free to walk away" even if you weren't physically taken into custody.
The company I work for (multi-state) does national criminal background checks on every employee. It's been my experience that if you have a record it'll probably come up (sealed or not). The reliable background check companies have multiple sources and odds are probably pretty good your history will be in some database. I would assume whatever you did is going to show up, at least partially.
If they ask, be honest. If they don't ask, don't tell. At larger companies the recruiters will know very well what they can and can't ask (asking the wrong questions can result in an expensive lawsuit), so they will be very careful about that.
At my company lying about a criminal background is not automatic grounds to dismiss a candidate (we will still take into consideration the circumstances, nature of the crime, and length of time since release from supervision), but it will not impress the hiring manager if you are caught lying.
I'm going to have to call you out on this. You can't criticize a person for not taking the time to type out text-to-speech and then yourself use "1000ms" - because if I Google "1000ms" it returns 2236.94 Miles per hour!
I'm not an expert on this, but there's a famous case from 1998 where the Galaxy IV telecommunications satellite developed "tin whiskers" on it's soldered connections which caused an electrical short resulting in a total loss.
So, at least in this case solder was used on a satellite.
Not to take away from Quinn Dunki's accomplishments, one big difference is the Veronica used an ATmega 324PA - basically an 8 bit 20 MIPS RISC CPU.
Generating a VGA signal is trivial for this powerful chip. Entire retro game consoles have been built with similar ATmega chips alone
Ben Eater is building a VGA card from discrete components, a somewhat more difficult task. The first part covers building the H/V timing sync circuit (no programmable clock source here!). It's worth taking a look if you're into this kind of thing.
That and the onboard flash is only 32MB. No networking support (WiFi or BT). Mono audio, no headphone jack. Some interesting limitations for a 32 bit portable console.
