No - we were lucky and just got featured - that's kind of why I know it's a chance I don't know if I'll get again and want advice to make the most of it.
Part of the fun and beauty of it though I think is that you can't stop - you are on a rolling train therefore under pressure to get it right in one take = it's kind of exciting that way ;-)
Sure - developers can access services that are cheaper than this. Outside of HN developers are a minority though and tools like Dropbox took a tech that was available to techies and brought it to the masses.
Some pointless comments here kicking a person while they are (or their server is) down - I'll never understand that mentality
I just love the fact that the Raspberry Pi isn't about money at this stage - it's a philanthropic initiative designed to help the world progress. Ultimately it gives computer access to far more people who will benefit economically in the long run
