My favorite is the first one, "The best engineers are obsessed with solving user problems." and what I hate about it is that it is super hard to judge someone's skills about it without really working with him/her for a very long time. It is super easier said than done. And it is super hard to prove and sell when everybody is looking for easily assessable skills.
The camera will be in the bedroom so I don't want to watched by an hacker who has an access to the servers of the service provider or the communication channel between the camera and the servers.
We and our neighbour Syria woke up a massive quake yesterday. In 10 cities of Türkiye a lot of buildings collapsed. In the middle of the day another massive quake happened in the same area.
Türkiye has declared a fourth level alert state. The "level 4" alarm condition includes an international call for help.
I am suffering from the same problem. I thought that may be an area in which I can create some contents and make money. Then I started yet another but simpler newsletter. Here is the launch letter.
As far as I see, some people are questioning why EU didn't prefer Chinese or Russian vaccines. I know only one of the Chinese vaccines: CoronaVac (developed by Sinovac)
We still don't have clear phase 3 results. The announced results (by Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia) are so different. It is not easy to trust it at the moment.
BUT WE ALREADY VACCINATED ALMOST TWO MILLIONS IN TURKEY :D
So the real results are coming... Just wait a couple of weeks more.
There are hundreds of websites, thousands of positions but it is really hard to apply a specific filter. Systems are ridiculously inadequate. I really cannot understand how a website for remote jobs doesn't have a "globally remote" filter. Also, filters are very generic while companies are looking for very specific experiences like domain, framework etc.
I am single. I have no kids. I am not allowed to go outside because of the lockdown. I have 32 hours in a weekend. I can spend 8 hours for reading and I think it is enough to finish a 150-pages book. I am reading books with my kindle, underlining important parts, and putting them into Goodreads at the end.
Note-taking is very similar to blogging. Many people lose so much time while searching for the best app instead of taking notes. If you want to develop a proper note-taking habit, just start writing into somewhere. md files, evernote, notion, etc. after a while, you will know your needs and you will be able to pick one of them easily. I have been using https://www.zoho.com/notebook/ for a while and I am happy with it. Since my needs are extremely simple: bullets, tags, groups, mobile app, macOS apps.
