Who is your target audience for this presentation? It doesn't do enough to say 'why' someone should adopt Swift (and use your services), be them a developer or business owner.
Also, be careful - the first two slides might give the impression that in order to use the new features in iOS 8.0, one must adopt Swift (which isn't true). "Mapping Obj-C to Swift" contains some inaccuracies that may be clear when you give the presentation but written down don't make sense (e.g. "-" becoming "func").
Hi there, co-founder here. With Peeps, you can start a conversation with a group of contacts without needing to know if they are already signed up. The phone numbers are used to let people know via SMS that you have sent them a video message, and they can view it online to verify that it is, indeed, you. Videos are saved on the server for this purpose and so that recipients can view the message when they log in.
I think the promotional video should show something a little more useful than air-writing. One could have typed (or spoken) the same text in a fraction of the time. How about drawing or painting?
I am an iOS dev based in London with a client who has a requirement for a basic, mathematics-based children's 2D game on iPhone. I'd like to work with another freelancer who has a good portfolio of Cocos2D based games. Ideally UK based.
I recently changed an image cache in one of my projects to use NSCache instead of NSMutableDictionary. I found that when my application was sent to the background (even for a few seconds), the cache was cleared and the images had to be reloaded on resume. This was not suitable for my application since the initial image request was costly, so I went back to the initial NSMutableDictionary implementation.
I don't think that there is a need for the liberal use of swearing in a mathematics book ("shit" appears 5 times in your sample PDF alone, two of which are in the title). In my opinion, it makes it sound very amateur and unprofessional.
