It's interesting to ponder that if things like this progress, will there eventually be laws regulating the conduct of social networks and/or their users? Governments may be able to control/influence companies in their own country, but do they have the right to do so on the internet, which is open to everyone?
Although the internet may not be as poetic as traveling to NYC and finding your "big break," it's a whole lot cheaper, and possibly more effective these days.
Although I think it's a good thing for congress to help us out with things like this every now and then, the author's list of gripes are a bit much. I think congress has better things to do.
