I had the same issue with NC feedback loop and was able to get the headphones replaced under warranty with little hassle. Worth a shot if yours are still covered.

There is currently a Fedora proposal to add -fno-omit-frame-pointer to default compilation flags [0](mailing list discussion: [1]).

One of the pieces of fleet-wide tooling that heavily uses eBPF is PyPerf, which we talked about publicly at Systems@Scale in September ("Service Efficiency at Instagram Scale" - https://atscaleconference.com/events/systems-scale-2/ - video also coming soon, I think).

I'm (hopefully) going to graduate GWU's CS program in May 2012; Ada is no longer part of the curriculum AFAIK.
