Very uncomfortable to read. The proposed idea of not reading the code you ostensibly wrote, doesn’t just challenge the traditional workflow or methodology, it challenges the identity of a programmer itself. For experienced, respected programmers like antirez perhaps reading and writing code truly has just gotten in the way of the ideas, but I cannot identify with that perspective. The devil is in the details, reading other peoples code (and code the LLM writes) evolves the idea itself, and changes my understanding of it. My view on this is so biased by the direct relation of code I read and write to feeding myself and my family (the vast majority of my programming is for a paycheck) that suggestions of removing myself from the process feel grim, not exciting.

These zwift races require two data inputs, one from a power meter (pedal or crank) and one from the trainer. So manipulating just the trainer flywheel would not be enough.

Private relay will egress from the same general region as the client source location. So if you’re in switzerland and hopping through a US exit point that is a bug. This is clearly explained in the wwdc video

Take a tcpdump capture on both server/client side and compare the handshake/tcp headers/negotiated window size. Often you see the server sending one thing, but the client sees another

I had a similar experience on a grand jury in new york (where you decide whether or not a felony case should go to trial at all) and was shocked to see a prosecutor come back 4 times on the same case, each time with a slightly less serious charge (ie, starting with level 1 felony assault and ending with some lesser assualt charge). So even after we the grand jury decided there was not enough evidence for the felony assault case to go to trial, they attempt it over and over again, with the same evidence, though requesting a slightly lesser charge, desperate for a different result.

We are not struggling to do line rate 10G in the kernel. Modern 100Gbe nics (mellanox, solarflare) will happily do line rate with stock upstream kernel for a while now (definitely since 4.x) you only need to tune your irq balancing, and you can probably get away with not even doing that. If you are buying 100gbe nics you are also buying server class (xeon, rome) processors that can keep up.

Subjective and frankly insane to say. Over 8 million people live in NYC (over 2x the population of the next most populous city in the USA, Los Angeles). NYC is commonly known in western culture as a world capital of culture, finance, and world politics (recall the UN). The population of NYC has grown by over 223,615 since the previous census. I agree with you that other cities around the world (a very large area!) may appeal to your personal sensibilities, but saying you 'feel bad for New Yorkers' is trolling. I Feel Bad for any backwoods country-dweller that thinks they have it better than the hundreds of thousands of people that made the choice to move to one of the (objectively) greatest cities in the world to improve their life. See how that feels? You just attempted to apply that to millions of people. Every densely populated has is faults (Barcelona particularly! Many, as in a substantial voting bloc, residents would prefer you to have never come as a tourist at all.) Pigeonholing the residents of the largest city in the USA to be worthy of your sympathy based on their choice to live there is not constructive, nor rational.
