Not to be a jerk, but aren't there already tons of sites that let you do this? Delicio.us, Pinterest, Tumblr ... ? Does the world really need one more?
Pretty cool. I just wonder, why do so many Javascript projects feel the need to add .js after them? You don't see thingie.java or thingie.cpp... Just wondering.
18% is a small minority. The headline tries to make it sound like more by calling it "nearly a fifth" but a fifth isn't very much, either. How about this: 82% of American scientists have never considered moving to another country. That doesn't quite sound the same, does it? I wonder how many Chinese scientists have considered leaving? I'd bet it's more than 18%.
So, some people have their fweelings hwurt because mean, mean waiters don't like them, therefore we all have to change our lives to lower the possibility that their pwecious fweelings won't be hwurt.
This person isn't a very good writer. I've read through it once and I'm not sure what the point is supposed to be. LISP and Java are different -- ok, that's pretty obvious. Some fuzzy stuff about embracing creativity, ok, fair enough but also fairly trite and more suited to an Apple TV commercial. Programming is an art as well as a science, yes, that's nice. Some things are plainly false, for example, "the theory of quantum mechanics and the expanding plausibility of complexity science threw everything we knew about the world into doubt." Did it really? So before we knew that London was the capital of the UK and that 2+2=4 but the "expanding plausibility of complexity science" caused people to doubt that?
