1) I'm curious - since what you're primarily selling here is 'trust' and a great deal of trust at that (e.g. care of age-ing parents). How do you plan to create that? Especially for first time users?
2) It seems like a big part of your offering is the end-fulfiller-agent - i.e. the actual agent fulfilling the task. How do you plan to select/oversee agents? (Especially when operating in new locations like India). Can you inspire trust that an agent sent to help an aging parent will not later use information gathered to rob said parent?
3) Do you plan to target governmental/bureaucratic activities - like submitting a form to a bank or picking up and mailing some document. If so how can you inspire the same trust one would have with a family member?
As an Indian who didn't make it into the IITs (and instead attended a different school)"The rest are really bad" isn't entirely accurate:
- Facilities aren't that much worse than the IITs
- Student quality varies - there's smart/motivated and dumb/demotivated/burnt-out kids - unlike the IITs that has a much higher quality bar - but you have both kinds
- Faculty is the real difference.. since faculty in India (esp Engineering) isn't geared to research the quality can really vary wildly
- Basically - if you're great at what you do - academics isn't a great track in India unlike the US
It's also worth asking - is this obsession with nanny-ing the less fortunate worth the cost? Even if say some x% of folks do spend y% of a UBI on booze and hookers - is the cost of preventing them from doing so worth the added cost of setting up a bureaucracy to monitor and police and prevent them from doing so?

From my experience, Indian colleges are pathologically socially backwards - more so than the rest of Indian society (as opposed to the west where schools are more progressive than society)
Is there anyone on this thread who believes this is not good behavior or that the perpetrator should not be punished? To answer your question no and no. I suspect part of this is how the caste system plays into the politics of reservation in specifically IITs and 'top' Indian schools.
Sunder-whats-his-name is decidedly a shithead.. But why there happen to be higher numbers of 'upper-caste' Indians in the US is decidedly complicated:
India has a really complicated system of reservations (aka affirmative action) - so that if you happen to not be economically/caste/class disadvantaged (or don't have the papers to prove it) you literally are competing with the majority of indian students for <10% of seats (see https://collegedunia.com/exams/jee-advanced/reservation)
to the point where these admissions spots India's (and the world's) most competitive schools go empty for want of appropriate candidates.
The politics of reservation aside - a lot of folks from 'higher' castes - unable to make it into that 10% end up trying education in the US or elsewhere to get away from this paucity of opportunity (while they do have to be economically privileged to do so - I don't know anyone who did it without taking loans)
