It's really astonishing how intelligent people delude themselves into thinking intelligence is just magically distributed equally among all races and groups of humans that have developed in completely different environments mostly independent from each other over long periods of time. As if evolution somehow took a break when it came to the human brain.
It's pretty much denial of evolution. And the IQ differences between Asians, Blacks, Hispanics and Whites in the US have been well studied for over a century now. It's really no surprise that the demographic changes in California have led to the stagnation regarding test scores.

This is mainly because academia - the humanities primarily - in the US has been infiltrated by postmodernists and cultural marxists and colleges pump out social justice warriors like crazy nowadays.
After it became obvious that the classic marxist idea of proletariat and bourgeoisie and the practical implementation of ideologies based on this idea led to some of the worst crimes on humanity, marxist academics replaced the whole thing with oppressed and oppressor, which has now become the basis for the ideology these SJWs operate on today. Everyone who belongs to a group that does well for themselves is now an oppressor, while the people belonging to groups that do badly are the oppressed. That's why White people, Asians and Jews (who usally count as White) are the oppressors who need to be diversified to ensure social justice, while women, "Minorities", LGBTQI+ people etc. are the oppressed "diversity". Skill and abilities take a backseat.
Of course these SJW bullies find an easy footing in software development, a discipline that is not exactly known for being pursued by the most assertive and confident males (or women for that matter).
In Europe the problem isn't quite as bad yet, though here in Germany it's getting worse with increasingly more university activites relating to feminism, diversity, history revisionism through marxist lenses etc. popping up. But since (at least in Germany) we don't have the admixture of humanities and STEM many US colleges and universities have, this stuff is mostly contained within the social sciences so far.

Well, it is, if they'd hire based on ability it'd mainly be a bunch of Asian and White males working there.
Asians, especially Asian males, don't rank high enough on the average leftist's imaginary oppression scale to count as "diversity" - "diversity" being mostly code for "not White", "not male" and sometimes also "not Asian or Jewish".
Every German supermarket I've been to has refrigerated milk. Pasteurized milk however has become almost impossible to find in Germany - I think it's only available in organic supermarkets anymore at like 5-6 times the price of "normal" milk.
Instead it's all ESL (extended shelf life up to 2-3 weeks) milk these days. And of course the ultra-high temperature treated milk you mentioned that doesn't need refrigerating at all.
I actually prefer the latter for coffee, it just tastes better IMO. For everything else I use ESL milk.
Whites are currently being replaced with Latinos and other non-Whites in the US thanks to immigration reform in the 60s. Soon people of majority White European descent will become a minority - all that in a time span of just about half a century.

Oh boy, speaking as someone who unfortunately grew up in a high Muslim immigrant neighborhood, you're in for a ride if you think Muslims will integrate as well as German or other European migrants - or at all.
As far as I'm concerned that kind of immigration is pure cancer and has directly led to lowered quality of life for me and many other people here. I can't even think of a single positive aspect of Muslim immigration, especially not in a large scale - maybe you can give me some hints?

I'm inclined not to believe the 15 hour claim. I've had the 2015 MBP since it came out and get maybe 4-5 hours of battery life doing non-heavy web development nowadays. After I newly bought it I got maybe around 7 hours at most. With integrated graphics only of course - with the dedicated GPU active I get around 3 hours or so only.

Japan is doing quite well without the insane immigration policies most of Western Europe has. It boggles my mind, how people came up with the idea of slowly replacing the native population with low-skilled immigrants for economic reasons and how that is still considered a good idea (despite all the obvious problems multiculturalism has shown to bring along in Europe).
All this current immigration system leads to is more Islam and more 3rd world in Europe.
Who could have possibly foreseen that?
