Any time spent reviewing your idea and building even a one page "Business Model Canvas" is time wasted. Most likely the idea you initially had will not be the one that ends up working out for yea.
I feel like this article is a list of best practices for pretending to be an entrepreneur.
I like this as an alternative, "You've got an idea for a startup, now what? JUST DO IT!"
Have you looked into how Grooveshark streams songs? I am only pushing this because I would love a playlist I can build as I think up or find songs and then can playback at some later time. I am always forgetting songs I want to listen to when I get home.
This is something I have been waiting for! Simple and actually useful. I was skeptical at first, but being able to build a list then later listen to the song is great!
Besides cleaning up the site and making it look pretty, the MVP is very well executed. What are your plans for monetization?

Good point for startups who have value to offer day one, but some startups do not add value until a certain level of activity is reached or a certain state of stability is reached, take Twitter for example.
However, I believe they have reached a point that it should start to charge. Those who see it as a value have spoken up about wanting and willing to pay.
Being a biz founder I picked up technical skills and built a crappy (MVP of MVP's) prototype to pitch to tech founders. If the non-tech founder can't even learn enough code to get anything built then I would be concerned for their level of dedication for their own idea.
Even though my prototype was terrible and even made the other founders laugh, they could see my level of dedication and my ability to get something done.
To me being a biz founder we need to be the scapegoat of the startup, no pride all humility and can sell the shit out of anything.
