Reminds me of when Tech Crunch ran with a story - based on unconfirmed anecdotal evidence - that private messages were showing up as public on user's Timelines. Within hours they updated the story to say they could not actually find evidence it was true.
One of my favorite HN comments from that thread:
"If I could short FB I would do so immediately. The fallout from this is going to be immense and long-term."
I have had a similar experience with the Hulu and Netflix apps. The killer feature for me (that would let me get rid of the small pc I have connected to my HDTV) would be a good web browsing experience. I haven't seen today's demo yet so I can't speak to that, but I can say that trying to use the xbox 360 Internet Explorer app with a game controller didn't cut it for me.
