I donot want them under dressed too.
But calling kids who have access to good (probably the best?) education and very good food, poor is unacceptable to me. May be its just me.
Its a misnomer to say British kids live in poverty. Poverty is living without access to food and education. these are guaranteed for them. If they are worried of going under dressed to school then that is not poverty.
We do not know who invented zero. Or who identified earth to be a sphere. Or who wrote the sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 ... . We just pick a name and associate them to our liking.
So when another colonizer comes up, we will have newer people associated with these. Hope it does not happen. But history does say so.
it is really odd to only discuss long term plans in a meeting.
Meetings help individuals present their idea/code and reviewer to critically/loudly think about the solutions. If that does not happen, thinking happening offline is not likely.
The author of this paper finally states:
" Dryden and his co-authors do identify atmospheric CO2 as the driver of ocean acidification, which they warn will result in the loss of 80–90 percent of all marine life by 2045."
Which essentially negates his own claim that the other article is rubbish. The current article is more rubbish than the original that author wants to critique.
H1B visas holders next gen are the modern day slaves. The Children are forced to choose tech as their future. They cannot for example work in low tech that is not eligible for a visa/H1B
