I like apps with lifetime deals (as do many people, I think). Unfortunately, some of them are not really 'lifetime'.

So, I want to build a tool that validates products according to certain criteria.

Currently, my tool is in beta.

The criteria are as follows:

- Domain age and expiration date: The domain age must be more than 3 months, and the expiration date must be more than 2 years away.

- Check for downloadable content: If the product is downloadable, there is a greater chance for it to be a lifetime deal.

- Checking social pages: Social pages must contain the latest posts (currently it only checks the link on social pages).

- I'm thinking about adding another criterion such as 'posts on social accounts', 'existence of a refund policy', and 'fair price'.

If anyone has some experience or ideas on how to ensure that a lifetime deal is truly lifetime (or at least for 1-2 years), please share.
