The author of that article did not say that the AI did the design of the brand identity. The author of that article said: while I was designing this brand identity, I also used an AI as one of my tools.
The title reads.. "How used Midjourney to design a brand identity"
Which, to me, reads that Midjourney was a tool he used, not that Midjourney created it. Compare to “How I used Illustrator to design a brand identity”. That’s a perfectly cromulent sentence, and no one would expect that to mean that Illustrator did the work.
Nice one! No offense, but IMHO the most useful thing is the link to https://bigjpg.com/ (for image enlargement) as well as the other related links for https://jpgrm.com/ (for image cleanup) and https://jpghd.com/ (for image restoration).
I’m not affiliated with them and they seem to be from the same shady Chinese business, just posting them for reference and future use :-)
Additional warning, these app links seem very shady

requiring an off Play store APK download. Would highly not recommend

Magic Eraser by Google (in Google photos) is very good at image cleanup. However, as per Google reputation very few people seem to know of it
Are abstract images what passes for a brand identity nowadays?
What midjourney did was create some new assets based on his already established identity. Certainly a use case, but did it really design a brand identity?
