It's an interesting feature, allowing organisations to verify their employees without having to jump through the old Twitter hoops or buying a verification through shady people like in the past. It does require a high barrier to not be misused but I'm not convinced this is it.
Considering the date, do we take this seriously? Hopefully it's folly
This part just seems like an unambiguously horrendous idea. It's more friction for potential advertisers, and there's gonna be a ton of large organizations without any kind of verification mark on their Twitter account. Not great.
