Oh, man. I should've known it. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch is the y-combinator function in Arc.
See the article: http://tinyurl.com/244fl
Note: Wikipedia says the village is referred to as Llanfair PG. Enough said.
I can actually pronounce that. :) I spent an hour one afternoon learning how to, and now it's instinct.

1. I don't know.
2. I don't care.
3. Why should you?

No; I was born in Weymouth, England. My father's Welsh though.
I knew we shouldn't trust him. But at least he's not Belgian.
Perhaps I should take this opportunity to explain that this comment is a joke. You see, the humor is that this is pg's site, I'm a fan of pg, and think extremely highly of him. Nothing is inherently untrustworthy about someone born in Wales, and I was already aware pg was not born in the US. Now you've made me take the joke out back and shoot it. You sensitive Welsh bastards. And I still don't trust the Belgians.
As an aside, I would challenge all of those afflicted with Chronic Humor Deficiency to read twice any statement seeming illogically harsh or which does not make any sense in context. These are jokes, dear fellows, and they're funnier when the rest of us don't have to explain them to you.
What's wrong with Welsh?
just out of curiosity: what's wrong with Belgians?
They are not swedish.
goddamn swedish thinking they're so superior with their stupid viking hats and their stupid longboats.

How could anyone have known? He has vowels in his essays!
In the words of Eric B & Rakim:
"It ain't where you're from, it's where you're at."
"It ain't where you're from, it's where you're at."
I'm sure that used to say Weymouth, Dorset?
Actually the change in birthplace is the most recent edit to that page... click History to find out. It did, indeed, claim Weymouth.
He even brushing teeth regularly, what's the news about that?
