Author here. I worked on this for a couple of weekends and hope someone finds it useful or interesting. I'm probably going to have to take it down in a couple of hours though. The process of actually downloading something using this is pretty involved which is why DRM is effective despite the technical ability to work around it.
Would it be possible to do something like this for Netflix?
