You didn't give any reasons as to why you thought HN was broken, you just asserted that it was, and quite rudely too. I interpreted that as trolling, so I flagged it. Seems like a few other people flagged it too.
If you want to initiate useful discussion, you need to establish context with your initial post. That usually takes more than a single sentence.

like you are explaining your opinion of my post only right now, let me explain mine
I cannot click on the "next" button more than a few times before having to start off all over again.
the reason people use HN is not, in my opinion, for the quality of the service, but because of the feeling that they are being watched.
there is also a inherent negativity in the way HNers treat a particular type of application (facebook based, for example)
It might help if you explain what you're actually complaning about, rather than ... forgive me, babbling incoherently. As far as I can tell, you're angry because the Next button isn't working and because people have preferences?

I get link expired errors often too but that is an issue of scale and server reliability rather than usability don't you think?
+1 for the submission, so that it survives as a negative example of how not to approach a perceived problem.

adevv, you're frustrated right now, which is totally understandable. Downvoting, counter-comments and flags in forums can be brutal. When faced with behavior that seems senseless and makes you angry a good strategy is to employ some exponential backoff algorithm (http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/lam/NRL/backoff.html), i.e. increase your reply time and empathy by 2x before taking action. Otherwise, things start to go the way of pointless "Oh yeah, take this" exchanges.
How about gathering some data (scrape all the flagged submissions over a period and see if any patterns emerge) and present it to the community? I would very much would like to see such an analysis (e.g. there were some allegations in the past that submissions get quickly flagged that are negative about YC companies).

Step one: You have some poorly-defined complaints about HN. Apparently the "Next" button doesn't always work. In itself that seems like a legit complaint.
Step two: Instead of submitting with a headline like "Tell HN: next button not working" or emailing pg directly about it, you declare HN "unusable", the users "scared", and apparently we're all too afraid to speak up in case we want YC funding at some point in the future. Your submission on this subject is misspelled, confusing and unreadable.
Step three: said submission winds up dead for being misspelled, confusing and unreadable. Now, things really start getting weird.

OK adevv, what I'm about to say might sound snarky but is in fact serious.
The way you're talking is paranoid and incoherent, and sounds a lot like the way a person with a mental illness would talk.
If you've been feeling strange lately then perhaps it may be a good idea to see a doctor, or at least to talk to some of the people in your real life about the feelings you've been having.

now I cant comment on it. there are questions being asked on it by people like ColinBright (challenging me to create an alternate HN, which I never undertook and is besides the point)

edit: the usernames are different because I cant post anything new at all from the old one! again, it defies logic. but thats how HN rolls
edit: I was referring to the unusability of HN where... - where HN repeatedly gives me link expired errors - is managed by PG and therefore influences the thinking in the posts here (for example, no single founders)
