I use Fastmail and have been happy with them. If you’re super privacy conscious then there is protonmail as well. I think most services charge per user though, although with Fastmail you can setup aliases across multiple domains.
I use Fastmail and it's fantastic. Unlimited domains and aliases. However, it only provides a single user per subscription. In other words, it's great if you're the only one using it and you're in control of all the other domains. If you're setting a client up with email at their own domain, it will cost an additional $40ish/year for their Fastmail user account.
I would love to find a good email provider that provides unlimited domains and users, and limits only storage capacity.

Never tried Fastmail. But it seems Zoho email is comparatively cheaper at 12$/year.

Really any cheap VPS provider with cPanel should do what you are asking to provide unlimthed domains, aliases, users, mailboxes, catch alls, forwarding, etc. if you are not looking for anything more complex than IMAP support. Just be sure to set all your DNS/DKIM/SPF up correctly and you should be good to go.
I really like Cloudways, but it's not going to be a price cut from where you're currently at. It starts at about $23/mo.

Netlify is one of the easiest for basic hosting, and free* for individuals.
I don't think they do emails. At a budget of $18/month, you could probably register Gmail or do a dirt cheap (but ugly) one with Namecheap for a few cents a month.

I have my domains via Google Domains, web hosting on Digital Ocean, and email I have a free grand-fathered GSuite. I would switch my email to a different provider but you can't beat GSuite for free (at least for now).

I use opalstack. Its from the old webfaction team. Great service at a good price.
I use to get unlimited domains and email for a few dollars a month. Now I am up to $18 a month for the same services.
What is your solution to unlimited domains and email for those domains? I am curios if there are lower cost options that just work with little maintenance.
