Of course not, personally almost all of my code these days is generated.
The LLM style of writing is just very distracting to read. “It unlocks X”, “Y changes the equation”, and why is there always something shifting? Makes my eyes glaze over in an otherwise interesting post.
Could you go more into detail on the actual process of designing, prototyping, and manufacturing? Like how would an average person, given enough motivation, do what you were able to accomplish?
I don’t agree. It’s obviously not a “real” wake, just something for friends to hang out and show support. And switching careers often means moving to a different city, so it would be nice to say goodbye to friends who won’t be seen for years (or forever).
I’ve been to a couple “deportation parties” for friends who couldn’t get their visas renewed, and it’s sort of the same thing. Mostly lighthearted but a slight somber undertone.

Honestly I wish I learned more biology in college instead of cruising through a CS degree for a generic software engineering career. Now that I’ve gained more interest in bio, the doors have closed.
FWIW I don’t think it’s a bad thing to repost articles that were last posted years ago. I didn’t see this article when it was posted in 2020 and 2022, and I probably wouldn’t have seen it ever if you didn’t repost it now.
You are correct, but it seems to be far easier to create new laws (e.g. to ban short-term Airbnbs) than to amend or retract current laws (e.g. strict zoning regulations).
