It's worth noting that GraphicsMagick is originally derived from ImageMagick 5.5.2 as of November 2002 but has been completely independent of the ImageMagick project since then.
I'm involved in developing x-cmd. We've been focused on developing new features and optimizing user experience. We occasionally promote it on social media and Hack News, but the results have been poor, which is frustrating.
An awesome project, I learned about it last year through developing the x-cmd pkg, at that time the latest version was 0.5.7, now it's 1.0.2, it seems necessary to upgrade the version.
Oh, it's really cool, I like it a lot.
I often use it and micro in Docker and servers to replace vim (to be honest, I don't like vim, I find it difficult to use -- just my personal opinion), with x-cmd I can quickly use helix and micro, just x hx, x micro.
x-cmd is a great CLI that I've been using recently, and it has significantly streamlined my workflow. x-cmd is very lightweight (no more than 1MB) and offers a range of interactive CLI tools. now there are more than 210 modules, more than 520 packages. Additionally, you can even combine the module functions with AI (openai, gemini,mistral...).
I like x-cmd because its package system is written in more compatible posix-shell and awk, resulting in much smaller loading and startup overhead. Additionally, x-cmd integrates with asdf and provides AI support, along with over 200 modules for various command enhancements
