You might be shocked at the market share of iOS devices in the US, especially when it comes to people who have disposable income to do things like buying new cars
This is a good move considering we don’t have universal basic income to sustain all the displaced drivers from full automation. Better to use this technology to supplement drivers as opposed to replacing them
It’s a shame they don’t seem to want to support Apples HomeKit Secure Video platform on their new devices. At least with apple we can trust everything stays local.
The Eufy cameras I do have that support home kit, I’ve blocked internet access to them from my router and can only access them through Apples Hone app.
That said I do recommend blocking internet to all cameras and use a self hosted app like Scrypted or Homebridge to manage your cameras
It can also escalate the level of violence. For example if you know a robot will come after you with deadly force, probably going to go ahead and get heavily armed, potentially using black market robots. A cat and mouse game
Same thing happened to me a few years ago. I have a giant subwoofer sound system in my car and usually play music loud on the freeway. That alert scared the hell out of me. Easily could have caused an accident!
Just curious, how is it more convenient? I assume you have a device that can’t stream Netflix? Downloading off of Netflix I believe you also miss out on Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, etc
Seems you either listen to experts in the field or random sources that claim otherwise. Which really boils down to what action must a large organization to mitigate risk? Should they listen to your logic or verifiable professionals?
