I honestly can’t tell if you’re talking about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which many leaders of the intelligence community claimed was fake Russian disinfo, only to be recently admitted into court evidence as being real and factual. Who exerted pressure on those officials to lie to the public before the last presidential election?
“They had time” is such an amusing, and inaccurate, assertion. Toil was a very real, everyday thing. The only way to avoid toil was to be on one’s deathbed.
It would be useful if more people could look at this from the driver’s perspective (in a nonjudgmental way). Most drivers I know are well aware of the costs associated with delivering but they do it anyway out of necessity. The job market isn’t great out there and I know many people, myself included, who’ve been job hunting for over a year. And delivering has been a decent fallback to make some ends meet. These fees are absolutely nuking a lot of potential deliveries and hurting drivers substantially.
Saying most scientists in the world are white males seems like a very Anglo-centric perspective, at least based on the numbers available from statista.com.
