Solid JS is what I would have chosen. Not sure if they considered it. Best performance and dev experience with least 'magic' of all frameworks I've tried.
People should learn about how much money the Fed is printing these days.
Bitcoin is getting a lot of attention from a lot of very smart financial people around the world because they see that with so much USD being printed, inflation is bound to happen and Bitcoin is one of many ways they can hedge against it.
HN is where you can find great commentary about tech related stuff. But outside of that eg. financial matters .. no.
It's funny how people on HN which are likely some of the first people in the world to know about bitcoin (eg. since it was only at $100 or less) keep upvoting articles like this for years now.
I think these people deep down know that they missed an amazing chance by not investing in bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) years ago, so articles like this make them feel better about it and lets them justify not investing in bitcoin to themselves.
But then in a few years bitcoin 5xs again and then they realize if they bought it at todays price would still have made them massive profit.
But then they see a new article saying bitcoin is a ponzi and upvote it and feel good about themselves again.
Oh but they have to downvote any comments like yours too.
If they were actually good at removing crapware from the store, then a bit of collateral damage would be understandable. Instead, it is still filled with crapware and even when reported they do nothing. And instead, they go for honest developers.
At this point Google is practically almost hostile to honest developers.
Also, it is strange that they value the revenue from these crapware apps more than their platform's reputation compared to ios App Store.
So a Korean, who probably knows more about the topic of Korean culture than the average American HN reader, gives their view and somehow these other readers think they know better and downvote him/her?
Typical HN attitude really ... people on this board seem to have this "know it all / know it better than you" attitude even when they clearly don't.

I am considering FoundationDB for a SaaS project. Here are some questions I have:
1. What is the recommended way to filter on multiple indexes?
2. What is the recommended way to filter on one or more indexes and sort on another or more index(es)
3. If I use FoundationDB as my main datastore, how should I implement full text search?
4. From what I understand, FoundationDB stores keys sorted globally. How does it handle hot spots where a range of keys that is very frequently accessed is on one machine that gets overloaded?
Try developing Slack or Discord with Rails and turbolinks. The point is, some apps are naturally SPAs. For those that aren't then it is unneeded complexity to make them SPAs. Also personally, I have had great experience with Vue in an SPA.
The way this article talks of Tibetan Buddhism without comparing it or contrasting the teachings in it to the Theravada school of Buddhism practiced in Thailand and Myanmar is very disappointing. It is painting another wrong image of Buddhism as a whole.
It is almost like if someone never knew what Christianity was about and after learning about a sect (church) with strange practices proceeds to write an article talking about it using the name of the church interchangeably with Christianity as a whole- to a group that knows nothing about Christianity.
This is especially disappointing because the Theravada school is the school that emphasizes philosophy more than rituals (other than meditating) and is thus actually closer to the Western idea - even though it is not exactly the same, because again Westerners including the author of this article mostly know nothing about Buddhism.
The result is this articlle paints a picture that Buddhism as a whole isn't really worth learning about.
Yes the author says he is talking about 'Tibetan Buddhism' but he doesn't inform the reader of other schools of Buddhism that may be more interesting to learn about and that don't have an emphasis on tantric rituals and mysticism that he is complaining about.
