of fucking course they will, its so generous of them, totally selfless, nothing else motivating them other than providing a service to the public :eyeroll:
Its seems to me you need to decide what your values and priorities are. If you decided to homestead expecting to keep on pace with contemporary values such as wealth and social status then you made the wrong choice. The choice to largely leave society and attempt what you have is one often made in spite of contemporary values. Its a choice to leave them behind and adopt new values. Subsistence can be enough, if you decide it is. On the other hand if you haven't made those value changes in step with your lifestyle changes you will fail and likely grow depressed.
I downloaded an app from F-Droid once, it was Spotify. Later that week I started getting strange spanish songs on my recently played. Checked my logged in sessions and there were several from latam. I deleted the app.
I did the same using proton mail and catch-all addresses. Every website I give a unique email address and it all goes into a special folder. If I start receiving spam from any address it gets blocked. This also gives me a pretty solid idea if a company is selling my info.
Exactly. It is so easy to achieve using a dedicated queuing system. You could just as easily achieve much higher throughput by passing a jobId as a message to Rabbit and have the worker pop the required data out of the db. Thats assuming you dont want to just pass in a serialized object. All this talk of it not being a durable system is just wrong. Rabbit has strong durability guarantees across a cluster with queue mirroring, confirmations and acknowledgements.
