My experience exactly. It is broken.
From my experience, is a result of the high cost of employees, an increasing mount of HR practices and processes and a sense of entitlement from both the company and the candidate.
Something should be done to make technical and system design questions a thing of the past.
Culture fit is the only one unavoidable.
This is a cult like approach. The main proposition "Everyone is a racist, whether you know it or not", is an overstatement. There is no way you can tell "everyone" is a "racist", is just an aphorism with multiple interpretations. This has become the tool of identity politics and group thinking, throw and aphorism and let people fight over it. Unfortunate.
Why we don't have a way to federalize content generation and allow content to be distributed organically. Similar to what is happening with Podcasts. Is there any video podcast kind of format that you can subscribe to their RSS and get the video to be played in any platform that supports it?
This! I think we are needing something similar to podcasts for video, that will remove the incumbent players (youtube) from being the sole owners of the video content and instead they are one of many distributors.

Give it a try!
