Yeah, the influx of people is disrupting my work, but it brings me joy to witness OpenAI’s decline in consumer support. So much for their Jonny Ive product, whatever it was.
I’m curious to know which you believe is overvalued. Is it the model creators, who are essentially producing a commoditized product that will never generate the current inflated values? Or is it the individuals who build useful tools that are only incrementally better than previous solutions? Or is it the companies that are attempting to develop groundbreaking products, but they are perpetually six months to two years away from delivery?

Yeah, I used an older version of a bluetooth messaging app like this. We wish it had been available in the times of Tahrir Square, but it was actually helpfull onetime when my bus stopped at a rural Ethiopian bus stop, my girlfriend ran into the bathroom but was taking too long and I was able to warn her that the bus was getting ready to leave.
Wireless internet is getting better, but when you really need something like this, you really need it.
Yeah, I've built a small iOS app and wordpress plugin for myself and love them. I'm curious if more people will do this in the near future, should we all be sharing our code on github?
Yeah, I think this is a shift that will be very interesting when commercialized. I already use chatGPT to write odd plugins for wordpress and programs for image and text manipulation. Now I can get an applet to do almost anything simple after an hour of messing around.
