Doesn't TV shows and movies also contain diverse cast and help us relate to people with different backgrounds, race, sexual orientation, etc.?
For example, i think Hollywood movies depicting homosexuality have large impact on people watching them from conservative countries.
if you are in a developing nation, which most of users likely are, then seeding or downloading illegal torrents won't be any problem. But I don't know about others.
interesting perspective, but more important reason in my opinion is that Japanese has so simple pronunciation (many vowels and fewer sounds all together), so Japanese people are not accustomed to making those difficult sounds that are in English.
idk bacteria aren't considered animals right? Also they don't have a nervous system, which a lot of vegans take into account. And also it's about minimizing harm rather than fully eliminating it.
