while it's true the model layer is getting commoditized, there is absolutely no way we are migrating any serious enterprise workflows to Kimi work. i think chinese models will continue to have an adoption problem.
i think an important nuance and the reason we don't suddenly have a sovereign wealth fund is it’s not a centralized US Gov buying stakes. It’s a bunch of different government entities using different pools of capital
- Commerce dept: Intel, IBM quantum, GlobalFoundries, D-Wave, Rigetti, xLight

Besides just being yet another example of the Trump admin abusing power and weaponizing legitimate laws in illegitimate ways to extract concessions, there is another reason this is dumb -- which is that Anthropic just has the best models!
As someone who wants America to win, ripping out Claude and putting in xAI is a terrible idea. Definitely setting us back a few months on capabilities
Very cool post, but as someone who has been on the other side of the situation, I do have sympathy for what they are trying to accomplish.
I bought a ticket that someone had double sold, and by the time I got to the door, they turned me away and said the ticket had already been used. So their system has good intentions, they just need to make it work offline.

I think RunPod and Vast have most the market share but t's still early to the game
This is great news and required a lot of courage from Governor Newsom. He was put in a tough place between two of his largest supporters (tech and labor). Paradigm shifts like autonomy are hard in the short term, but it never makes sense to hamstring technology to preserve jobs - if that were the case we'd still be paying punchcard operators instead of using computers. Not to mention that this will make our roads safer.
Took me a while to figure out how to make an investor update in Notion with Charts, so I decided to publish this open source. Hope it's helpful. Only caveat is you need to use Notion2Charts for the charting until Notion builds charts natively
Recently built a project that turns CSVs and databases into charts and graphs using GPT3. This was inspired by trying to create visualizations for some data in Google Sheets and finding the UI hard to use. Let me know if you have feedback!
yes, i love autojump for terminal, definitely part of the inspiration for this. And I agree on adding more utility to create / edit - we are going in this direction for example jumprope has these commands:
