I don't think there's any field that requires a special approach to mindfulness, but it may be useful to people in those fields to have examples put in relatable contexts - that's why you'll see Mindfulness For Athletes/Executives/Etc... even if it kind of all boils down to common elements.
Are you using Crosswalk for both iOS and Android, or just for Android? We've been using Ionic + Cordova with pretty good results on iOS so far, but we're starting to shift focus onto the Android offering.
Regarding your last point, there's a series of videos on YouTube where pro photographers are challenged to take the best pictures they can with 'subpar/cheap' gear; the results are pretty incredible.
Oddly enough, at the end of Pariser's TED talk, he called out facebook and Google to allow users to control what gets through their 'filter' and what doesn't. This is definitely bubble-ification, though at first glance it's the user who's in control of it.
I searched for my own username expecting a flatline, but there were a few hits in the last few years. Flattering, but I'm fairly certain that hackers have not been talking about me. ;)
Perhaps you should only query titles and text, not usernames?
edit: for example, searching for pg would include his own submissions as well as mentions and Ask PG subs.
I'm not a fan of trying to put spin on anything - when I submitted the story, the only edits I made to the original title were to satisfy HN's 80 character limit.
