Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that there is no actual forum or discussion board on that site? Sure you can leave comments on [self-promotional] posts but it doesn't seem like you can post a question to other devs.
Whenever I get my cholesterol tested I have low good cholesterol and high bad cholesterol, is that hyperlipidemia? Any recommendations on how to get high long chain omega 3 and low omega 6 in my diet? Any supplements or brands I should take? Any books that you recommend I read?
NREL - National Renewable Energy Lab - interactive Pumped storage hydropower visualizer:

You may be interested in the book The Keystone Approach by Rebecca Fett. It goes over research into the connection between pediatric strep throat and psoriasis. IIRC(from the book), if you are diagnosed with psoriasis before the age of 40, there is a 90% chance that it happened shortly after a... bad case of strep throat? Tonsillectomy? I forget which. Pretty eye opening book with some good diet-based advice on reducing symptoms of psoriasis, if you are looking for relief.
> One of our biggest complaints is that in the USA it is super hard to make friends as everyone is super stressed, doesn't go to parks, and work long hours
Where were you experiencing this in the US? I have felt it from time to time but not always, curious if this was in the Bay Area or elsewhere.
HN jumped the shark (to be too much like reddit) around the holidays of 2020. In a few months I'll have to start looking for the next good discussion place.
I've battled gut dysbiosis for years. To try to improve your mood, you could take some probiotics marketed as helping to do that. I used to take Garden of Life brand mood+ probiotic (you can probably find this at your local Whole Foods or regional health food store), but started having constipation and symptoms of excess histamine. Now I recommend a probiotic by the company LiftedNaturals that doesn't contain any histamine-boosting strains:
>If more revenue really is the answer, I'm not opposed to bumping up taxes more in certain ways. I'm definitely for ideas that make taxes less regressive, for instance getting rid of the lower long-term capital tax rate is probably good idea and a simple way to raise effective tax rates on the wealthy in a massive way.
So you agree with my point.
The rest of your comment, I think you're making things a little too black and white. You make it sound like people can either bring attention to the wealth inequality that exists today("demonize those at the top"), or they can buckle down and do "the hard work of making real, tangible improvements in the lives of those at the bottom," but not both. I think both of those are possible at the same time. Either way, could you please share a specific example of the hard work of making real, tangible improvements in the lives of those at the bottom? It seems to me like you're echoing the old pull-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps argument, in a third party sense? Because I'm really not sure what sort of hard work for making real, tangible improvements wouldn't require some kind of money.
Having just read the earlier article about him, that's totally fair. That first one is a much more substantive (IMO) and scholarly scathing takedown of PG. This one is certainly more personal and political in nature.
