I did this a few years ago (sans plugin) and correlated weather to velocity and WIP (Jira) for our development team. I was disappointed to find no meaningful correlation.
Does anyone know how the large datacenters in Iceland are faring?
I know that most of the big ones are north east (near the international airport in Keflavík).
They were really popular for crypto miners, but have been moving into HPC very rapidly. I’d assume there is a ton of extremely expensive equipment less than 10-15 miles from where all this activity is.
I checked the internet archive (wayback machine) and don't see that the AUP has changed significantly in recent months. While I continue to disagree with PayPal's stance and ambiguous language, the article led me to believe that they'd snuck it back in. I don't see anything mentioning "mis-information" in the AUP, but there are still plenty of completely subjective language in the document.
It seems to be this garbage has been the same the whole time.

I work for a company who has purchased iPods for years to deploy a LOB application that uses a specific sled for the iPod with a barcode reader. We buy 100s per year once the batteries expand. Gonna take a lot of developer effort to rewrite.
An old plumber friend wished he’d specialized. His idea was 1) live in a college town with tons and tons of student or vacation rentals (we already did) and 2) just do water heaters. 24 hour service and mark up for unscheduled installations.
Easy, clean, indoor work (generally) that you can get really good and you can pretty much name your price because everybody freaks when they don’t have hot water or it is leaking.
Lack of service desk in other applications has always been what keeps our org on Jira (on premises). Anyone have any suggestions on deeply integrating service desk tickets with engineering tasks?
There are numerous accounts of illegal activity at hotels, hostels, government sanctioned housing, college rental properties, and any privately owned, leased property, but no one, ever has been held accountable for illegal behavior (like domestic violence, illicit drugs, underage drinking, etc), so why should a SaaS?
