Congrats on the launch! Curious, how do you plan to acquire customers? Wouldn't hospital systems want to keep the treatment within their system or partner hospitals?

Please post more meaningful comments. Sure it doesn't have static typing or performance of C, but it has a stable framework in every conceivable application (Web Dev, machine learning, CLI, you name it) and works as a top notch scripting language. This is not "stupidity", it was by design to make it batteries included and easy to use with a tradeoff with the above things.
One of the core advantages I see here is trust. It would be so much more effective to match with someone who is connected to you by shared people/interest, rather than just a photo card.
Just to be clear, this was a response to the comment.
I do not have any opinion on Barbara Bush in particular other than knowing that she has a lifetime of experience in top American political circles and has been widely respected for that.
Just so you know,
1.recommender systems != collaborative filtering.
2.RBMs are good only for certain situations like explicit ratings (where users provide direct feedback), its a really hard problem in implicit recommendations (which are most sites). See Bayesian Personalised Ranking Algorithm.
3. >I'd argue that the logistics of shipping perishable food is significantly more difficult than streaming an audio file. Thats exactly the point. I am not measuring hardness. But that looks a supply chain problem that a software engineering problem.
One of the issues that nobody seems to address is when entire societies shift to cashless, there are network operators who are still milking their first mover advantages. A product that is worth x, is now priced at 1.01x to pay for transaction networks. Europe is definitely ahead than US, but there needs to be better regulations around this.
Spotify is a tech company by all measures. Their core value propositions - recommendation engine, UI/UX, scaling responsive applications - those are pretty 'tech' problems.
