Great viewing angle. My 27" 4k looks "dark" in the corners from a center position.
I'd also prefer a display with integrated speakers so that a Chromecast could easily turn it into something useful when it gets replaced.
(I would probably try a Ultrawide next time, since its not a big difference in veritcal space with this monitor (scaled) compared to my old 22" display)
I'm pretty skilled and love the modal mindset - but still feel like I'm faster with Vscode, with less effort.
You can do so much with multiple cursors and a few extensions (expand selection to bracket, insert numbers, and align cursors are the operations I use the most).
100%. If I understand correctly. to change a single line (say some behaviour that is wrong for your workflow) of a VSCode plugin you have to fork it on Github.
In Emacs it would probably be a short snippet, tested in your scratch buffer and added to the end of your init.el:
(add-hook 'vscode-todoist-xxx-hook ...)
This is what I miss the most about Emacs - what I don't miss is the endless configuration/tweaking...
When I tried that, I found that as soon as I wanted to alternate into more "passive mode" (Youtube, reading a blog post) standing didn't work. I like the stool idea, would love to try standing desk one day again.
