Oh I read a lot of HNSW stuff on your/Pinecone blog series. (Great learning resource btw, well done!) So I assumed you were using HNSW already. It's a news to me that you don't use it.
It's way easier to run a Hello World web app with Netbeans!! In fact, a new web app project by default creates a project with default settings/xml with index web page saying "Hello world" - it can't get any simpler than that! give it a try :-)
these issues do not get noticed in India because for majority of Indians the attention to and addressing fundamental problems (food, shelter, health) are of utmost importance for time being.
I use Gmail via Fluid app on mac and it works great independently (doesn't slow down n stuff). But if I keep gmail open in chrome, it sucks up lot of memory over the time.
