Happening is a group messenger that allows third-parties to create seamless plugins using CoffeeScript and HTML5. As our platform does most of the work (accounts, groups, data sync, notifications, distribution, etc), plugins can be created very rapidly and deployed instantly.

0rtt is going to make a huge perceived difference on high latency (mobile) links. Don't forget however that the syn/ack tcp connection setup also still has an additional 1rtt overhead. For this reason, I'm still rooting for Google's QUIC to get towards standardization and mainstream adoption.
Notably: back then I used flash to speak TCP, with a memory-leaky and bug-ridden mechanism to transfer byte buffers between JS and Flash.
