I enjoy reading far out theories like these. I recently[1] saw one that claimed all the weird tunnels that terminate just short of the outside resemble wave guides, the big tunnel with the grooves was a low pass filter and the whole structure was basically a giant antenna

If you are 'slamming' on the brakes many times during a normal trip you're probably a really poor driver and you're going too fast for the condition. Please try a new style of driving in future.
That is interesting. We have the same machine, which now concerns me. However due to recently removing on some old paint which we later suspected might have been lead based I Thad some blood tests for lead levels and everything was fine.
