This longevity aspect frequently comes up in the Wii U modding community. It is tempting to plug in a simple USB stick to store the game files, but, because of the intense read/write nature, it is deemed to be prone to failure. Recently use of high-endurance SD cards has grown, but some say it is still not as safe as an external HDD. It would be interesting to hear thoughts from someone more experienced about the safest storage option as the last thing you want is for your save files to get corrupted.
X100V is super-hard-to-find-right-now, I have an older version X100T and I am very pleased. It is basically the camera that pros using the huge DSLRs everyday reach for when they go on their own holidays or leisure trips. And it's value has nearly doubled in the two years I had it, unheard of in the field of consumer electronics.
Haha, I learned to solder a few weeks ago just to get my Emerald cartridge to run properly. I couldn't stop taking pictures of how beautiful Links Awakening DX was. I'd say DS also has a few games worthy of your attention.
Film photography is certainly the best hobby that I've picked up during the lockdown. Try getting some vintage lenses and mounting them on a digital camera via an adapter for great results too.
More colour choices would be great. Sometimes I use my second screen just for face illumination during video calls. I found that ft.com salmon-pink is one of the better choices.
I can't be the only one who just bought a 4K blu-ray player. The cost of a disc is cheaper than a monthly subscription and I can still trade them in making it a cracking good deal.
And quality is soo much better than streaming, literally made me move my sofa a little closer to TV!
Just three days ago I've set up my 93 year old grandfather on a Lenovo Smart Display 7. I think it has multiple benefits over an iSomething:
- Always plugged in - no need to remember to charge
- Shows our family picture albums that I can remotely update via my Google Photos
- It is loud. Left the volume at 3/4
- Sits on a table and you're never holding it wrong™
- No settings to mess up, two previous tablets were too complicated
