I think the Hollywood market is actually an interesting one. Having a private door to door transportation option for celebrities is likely a very enticing option, and I would be curious to see if they specifically try to go after that market. I know I personally would choose a private waymo vs an Uber/Lyft/taxi even if it meant a few extra bucks. The ability to sit privately and not have to make awkward small talk is a big selling point IMO.
also other cultures eat many savory egg dishes as well that makes egg use outside of breakfast quite common. my family of 4 goes through about that many eggs because of many lunch and dinner egg dishes we eat. I've been personally shocked by how many eggs we go through a week, but buying flats at local farmers markets has helped quite a bit.
if you accept the discount, Amazon won't give you the full refund. my wife got caught by this, and customer support told her that because she had accepted the refund she couldn't also then request a full refund. It seemed crazy to us but I'm guessing the scammer is just using this policy as a way to steal a portion of the sale price. I'm sure amazon will catch on but it's just a cat and mouse game.

When the pandemic hit and we all went into lockdown, my wife and I with our newborn and 2 year old went looking for a way to keep somewhat of a workout routine in our schedule. We found a gym that was posting home-modified workouts on SugarWOD and they've been perfect for us. We want to maintain fitness - I couldn't care less if my deadlift or clean or snatch got stronger - my definition of fitness isn't my PR's. I want to be able to do things like play sports with my kids when they grow up, hike with them, run around with them for hours without feeling like dying. That's the goal and these types of apps are perfect for that. I don't have to care about what to do today, if I'm overloading a specific muscle group, if I'm taking it easy on myself because I'm a bit lazy that day. I open the app, I see what's in store and I go. We've actually talked about not going back to our regular gym when things open up again because we've enjoyed this so much and haven't lost a beat in terms of fitness. I have friends whose definition of fitness has a lot more to do with physique - and for them they absolutely would not get what they want from our routine. They need very specific programming (diet, exercise, and rest) to hit their very specific goals.
But you could still do it, you just get a lot of warnings that you probably shouldn't unless you know what you're doing. AFAIK I can't do that on my iPad at all.
Fairly certain that isn't true. On my wife's iPhone, she was never able to use voice to text while in airplane mode. Maybe that's changed with the latest 11 but it definitely didn't work on the X.

This is what makes security keys so great, you can't surreal a token from one domain and use it on another. They completely remove this type of attack, which no amount of training will ever fully protect you from. You can't put the onus on the employee, you have to make it impossible for them to do the wrong thing in this case.
Yeah I struggle with these types of UIs as well, where it's in between two elements. I think it would work a little better if the right side of the horizontal bar had an overlay with the Move Here text. That way you could tap a much larger target and it's more obvious what it's referring to. This is an improvement though to many patterns I've seen.
The answer is probably that this isn't real. A self driving car with better vision, perfect attention, and instant reactions won't get itself into that kind of situation. And in any other case where an accident is unavoidable, the answer is to just hit the brakes because it won't matter anyway.
Have a colleague who completed this last year, seemed to be a fantastic value. He had to drop to 4 days a week for a few of the more intense semesters, but seemed honestly proud of completing and brought back a ton of knowledge to the team.
I used to feel this way too, but then was talking to family that was visiting from other parts of the world where no one they know owns a laptop or desktop computer, but everyone has a phone. For much of the next wave of computer users in rising countrues around the world, the phone is the first and only computing device that a person owns. They grew up on smaller screens and digital keyboards and have no care to move to what they consider a less convenient form factor. It really helped me better understand why some of these global messaging platforms are focused so much on phone based systems.
Depends a lot on the role. I've conducted a few hundred interviews at this point and you're right that I don't put equal weight on all certs, but they do help me prepare questions. For example, if I see a CCNA recently issued, I can make an assumption that opening with a network question should be a way to ease the candidate into an area they are at least somewhat comfortable in and get over the initial interview nerves. If they flounder in what I would assume is an entry level question in a topic they claim to have expertise, then I know I immediately need to adjust the questions and expectations for the rest of the interview. For some roles this could be an immediate sign that they probably aren't the right fit, but that doesn't mean they don't have knowledge and skills in other areas and it's my job to find those and determine if there's another open role that they could be great in. Or if they are open to a more junior role with an ability to grow, if they show great signs in other areas. So in short, the cert does help me tailor the interview a but better.
I never understood this either. Why not go to a whitelisting model for channel owners and just start with large brands like PBS that have a vested interest in their reputation. You get the benefit of new videos from those channels and then slowly work through a backlog.
