Erm, sure some things are about knowlegde and having more skilled people are better. However, who the fuck would begin to talk about different standards on the simple program at the beginning?
It is all about the question, and the question was asked in a poor way making the candidate unsure on what you want to know and will most probably have a simple answer. I personally hate questions like that because it's stupid to ask them. The point of asking a question is to get as a good answer as possible. Then, please don't ask vague questions and be waiting for the long, detailed answer.
Well, the reality goes forward and the customers that doesn't know how to fix this will probably be mad at the vendor for good reasons. They still use old, crappy software and it'time for an update since it will no longer work in modern browsers.

I come from the feminist extreme country Sweden and are well known with the feminist agenda. This article makes me angry, not the pleasant, funny guys presenting just a for-fun app. This whole debacle is so not necessary and could be avoided. I, like many guys in Sweden are very tired of being called sexist when you're not and tired of the feminists altogether.
I guess the US / UK haven't had enough of feminism yet.
I would recommend coming to Sweden. It's a country which developers is within high need. Quite easy to get a job. There is probably a lot of jobs you can get with only english, but Swedish is pretty easy to learn.
Sweden has pretty good welfare for asylum seekers (so you will have time to adapt and be able to search for jobs). Living an everyday life with only english is easy. Most people speaks english fluently.
Cool and congrats. Great idea you guys have. But if this evolves into a more advanced working system, please remember this plead and respect people's privacy. I'd rather be exposed to violent crime than being watched everywhere.
I make around $70k right now as a junior developer around 20 years old. It's pretty good for the country I am living in. Here in the northern Europe engineers are very underpaid if you compare with maybe Germany or USA.
I have around 1 year of real work experience before I got this job. I hope that I will make $200k some day but I recognize that it probably won't come too soon. Although I value time off more than money in my hand if I'm working for someone else.
