Yes, without going into too specific details to maintain privacy I have spent most of my life in northern industrial towns. I can see the argument for it being depressing, and I dont think they shouldn’t be cleaned at all. What I am saying is that I hope some particularly impressive buildings are kept black to maintain that character. Cleaning some would provide some variety and I have no problem with that.
I am by no means an expert, but I have thought about trying to visualise the fourth dimension. The issue is that we don’t really see 3D. While in 2D we can view every pixel simultaneously, when we view in 3D we have the issue of aspect and concealed voxels. You can’t visualise simultaneously all voxels of a cube, as most are under others or otherwise obscured. This therefore limits how much we can use 3D to mimic 4D. Perhaps if we were to spend more time with semitransparent objects our brains could learn to visualise 3D better and then maybe 4D.
Even if the cave was closed from a gaseous perspective, there is flowing water. Gases dissolve in water, although not necessarily very quickly. Would the flow of water allow for CO2 to be removed from the space given a sufficiently large surface area?

I agree with you that antibiotic resistance (of bacteria) can rise due to the use in the harm industry, the part that I am sceptical is your statement that the human body itself becomes resistant to antibiotics. The sources you provided discuss bacterial resistance, which is very different from human body resistance.
Could you provide some evidence to back up your statement? As far as I am aware, antibiotics directly impact bacteria via impairing DNA, ribosomal, or cell wall synthesis. The human body does break down antibiotics via the liver, and it’s rate can be increased by numerous drugs (but not normally antibiotics) and this would not be seen as resistance.
I don’t think the concept of human resistance to antimicrobrials is consistent with conventional biological knowledge.
