In most cases you just have to know. There are some ortholinear keyboards with some sort of display or indicator and you could program the backlight to show your current layer. It sounds like it would be hard to get used to but a few days was all it took for me to be proficient and I type faster now than I did on a conventional keyboard.
That's not how this works. The court operates under the rule of stare decsis which would already make this a tough hill to climb. Even more, the line of reasoning in the decision agreeing to federal restriction of in-state marijuana sales goes all the way back to the great depression and is really unlikely to be overturned in just over a decade since it was decided last time.
I self-hosted for a long time but I eventually switched to fastmail mostly because, no matter how much I tweaked, I couldn’t get the spam down to a tolerable level and I got sick of tweaking the weighting on the various filters in spamassassin.
I used Dashlane at a previous company. It felt like a much buggier LastPass. I avoided it to the extent possible. Most of the problems seemed to be the usual non-standard HTML / Javascript hijinks breaking things but LastPass was pretty good at dealing with that whereas Dashlane seemed to get confused much more often. They may have improved since then. This was about a year ago.
Our ELB instance stopped responding entirely. Made a replacement instance and none of the web servers would come up healthy. Ended up reusing an ELB instance we had for another purpose to band aid the issue.
I absolutely disagree for exactly the reason you mention in your first sentence. It is a big grey area. There is no clear line between what is acceptable and what is not. Rather than censor, we should act like adults and refuse to listen to racists. It is not the government's role to decide that for us. When they do, they almost always get it wrong somehow and often corrupt the process to their own benefit just like is described in this article.
